Merchandise Manager

Jungle Merchandise is a leading music & entertainment merchandise agency in Australia and New Zealand.

We're looking for a Merchandise Manager with a keen interest in tour merchandise and the music industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, growing organisation working in a friendly and creative team environment.

 

Merchandise Touring Manager will be an integral part of our leadership team, responsible for both procuring new business and overseeing the entire lifecycle of concert touring merchandise programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and an understanding of the music industry's dynamics.

 

Key Responsibilities:


Business Development:

● Identify and engage potential new clients, including artists, bands, managers, and partners.
● Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
● Present Jungle Merchandise’s capabilities and unique selling propositions to potential clients.


Program Management:

● Oversee concert touring merchandise programs from concept to execution.
● Liaise with design teams to develop product ranges that resonate with the artist’s brand and fan base.
● Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
● Work closely with logistics teams to ensure efficient distribution of merchandise to concert venues.
● Monitor sales, inventory, and returns, and make necessary adjustments to ensure profitability.
Financial Oversight:
● Develop and manage budgets for each merchandise program.
● Ensure projects are delivered on budget and maintain profit margins.
● Liaise with the Accounts Team to provide regular financial reporting to senior management.

 

Team Collaboration:
● Work cross-functionally with design, production, logistics, eCom and marketing teams.
● Provide feedback and insights from the field to continually improve processes and offerings.


Market Analysis:
● Stay updated with the latest trends in concert merchandise.
● Analyse competitor offerings and strategise to maintain a competitive edge.

 

Qualifications:
● Proven experience in concert merchandise management, sales, or a related field.
● Strong network within the music and concert industry.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software.
